
Personally, I like the power and size of a desktop machine. Large, dual (at least) screens, a nice big keyboard that keeps me from having to twist my wrists into the cramped configuration demanded by laptops. I know, I know, you can stick a laptop into a port replicator and have all that, but I can do without the hassle and extra cost. Bottom line, I do not need to do my computing for all to see in my neighborhood Starbucks, or in a tree, or on my hardwood floor. My desk is fine. But that's just me.
