The keyboard from the Android L Developer Preview, modified to run as a standalone app by Chrisch1974 and I. Free, no ads, no bloat. No root required. Instructions below for setting Material Design theme.

-Go To Settings
-Click on Keyboard (sometimes called Language & Input)
-Turn on the Android L Keyboard
-Scroll down to advanced settings
-Change Colour Scheme to "Material"
-To use, go into somewhere you can type, drag down your notification bar and switch the keyboard there.
-Make Material the default theme.
